Mounting Surface to Platter distance

The Rigid Float tonearm is designed to operate best when placed on a surface that is approximately 45mm to 65mm lower than the top of your platter. This value may vary by +/- 3mm depending on cartridge height dimensions. For turntables without sufficient platter to surface distance, outboard placement of the tonearm is recommended.
